Unimed National Institute

Created with the purpose of intensifying community project investments – without compromising the cooperatives economic bal-

ance –, Instituto Nacional Unimed received in December 2014 the title of Oscip (Public Interest Civil Society Organization) from the

Ministry of Justice. With this recognition, it will be possible to enter into partnerships and conventions, as well as to raise funds by

means of social, environmental and cultural project incentives, thus making it possible to strengthen investments in the cities where

Unimed is present.

“The Unimed System effort

on the society sustainable

development is old, and at

this moment at which actions

directed towards this ideology

are so fundamental, it is with

utmost satisfaction that we

receive the title of Oscip. Such

distinction shows that we are

aligned to the cooperativist

precepts of Education,

Formation and Information, and

of community interest”
