Principles for the Report contents definition

Stakeholders Inclusion:

The Unimed System relationship public is vast, encompassing beneficiaries, clients, members, employees,

Singular Units, Federations and auxiliary societies, the community, the Public Power, Regulatory Agencies, partners, suppliers and

service providers. This report materiality has been defined through consultation with the main relationship publics in 2014, according

to Exhibit II of this Report.

Sustainability context:

This report contemplates the economic, social and environmental performance of 231 of the 351 Unimed

cooperatives composing the Unimed System on December 31, 2014. Unimed do Brasil believes that the indicators presented in this

report describe most of the sustainability context in the Unimed System, assessed based on the Unimed Social Balance consolidated

indicators analyses.

Materiality:

For this Report development, Unimed do Brasil utilized two results of the Materiality Survey held with the Unimed

System relationship public, mainly employees responsible for the sustainability insertion in the Unimeds management. For more

information, please refer to Exhibit II, “Materiality”, in this Report.

Completeness:

This is the second consolidated sustainability report of the Unimed System, developed based on the GRI G4 guidelines,

an annual reporting process which previously contemplated the utilization of guidelines prior to G4. We believe that this report covers

the most important material aspects for sustainability management in the Unimed System, identified upon a public consultation with

the relationship publics.
