The fundamental roles played by the OPMEs Strategic Commission and Unimed do Brasil support-
ing the Federal Senate and House of Representatives Congressional Investigative Commissions about
the OPMEs mafia in 2015 ultimately contributed for the appearance of a new scenario. Measures al-
ready prepared and in implementation by the Ministry of Health and bills of law by the Legislative
regarding the issue have significantly resulted from our work. This has only been possible due to the
fundamental participation of the Unimed cooperatives which provided information and supported
the cause. It is the commitment of all to the Brazilian society health improvement.
