When contracting a health insurance, it is important that the beneficiary receives the necessary guidance regarding how to better use it, as oftentimes they end up not paying attention
to details that impact the quality of the service to be provided, generating inconveniences for the beneficiary themselves and cost increases for Unimeds. Contributing for a more positive
customer experience with their health insurance, as well as for optimizing resources, Unimed do Brasil developed the campaign Health Insurance Conscious Use – following the exam-
ple of Unimed Paraná – and incentives its adoption by Unimeds. It contemplates nine hints aiming at guiding beneficiaries on how to use their health insurance in the best possible way.
