Unimed System National Sustainability Policy (PNSSU)
[G4-14]
The National Sustainability Policy is the main guideline connecting all sustainability actions coordinated by Unimed do Brasil for the
Unimed System. Since its creation in 2001, under the title “Social Responsibility Policy”, it has undergone two revisions. The first revision
happened in 2012 and the Policy was validated in public consultation, which verified a 98% approval index by interviewees. In the first
semester of 2015, while this report was being prepared, Unimed do Brasil started a new revision of the Policy with the purpose of reflect-
ing the new challenges of sustainability insertion in the Unimed cooperatives management, which constitute the current Policy base.
