Personnel turnover by replacement
In 2014 25,565 employee hirings were registered among the same 231 Unimeds which
reported the indicator in the Unimed Social Balance, while the number of exits and dis-
missals registered was 19,673. In a survey with the Unimeds own hospitals in the first
semester of 2014 it was indicated that the rate of turnover by replacement among the 32
own hospitals participating was 1.86%. In the same survey, the indicated rate was 1.28%
among federations, singular units, first-aid units, laboratories, and other own resources.

Benefits
In the Unimed System, the benefits offered to employees have become another human
resources management tool in a scenario of employee attraction and retention in themar-
ket. In 2014, all allowances offered to employees, without including training investments,
reached the amount of R$ 728 million among the 231 Unimeds which reported the indi-
cator, a value 19.82% higher in comparison with 2013. The main benefits offered, accord-
ing to the Unimed Social Balance, were meals, health, transportation, work safety, culture
and/or leisure investments, day care center or day care center allowance, life insurance,
private social security, results sharing, and bonuses, among others.
