In 2014 the total number of work accidents occurred with Unimed employees was 2,197. The figures were compiled among the 231

Unimeds reporting the indicator in 2014, that is, 65.81% of the Unimeds total in December 2014, but there is a difficulty to assure infor-

mation about the nature of these accidents. We understand that in operators, as the activities are of an administrative nature, this indica-

tor is lower if compared with the Unimeds own resources, such as hospitals, laboratories and drugstores. In the same year, 79.65% of the

231 Unimeds reporting the indicator informed that they carry out campaigns and qualifications related to health and safety in the work

environment, while 73.16% informed that they supply safety equipment. The indicators show that the safety and healthiness indicators

in the work environment are defined in a participative way.
